Importance of Argan Oil
The medicinal properties present in argan oil make it more useful than other oils. Argan oil is made from the fruits, kernels, and pulp of the argan tree. This oil is also called "liquid gold". Argan oil is mainly used in products such as soaps, conditioners, etc. It is also good for health, hair, skin, and nails. It contains many vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals that provide benefits to the body in many ways. Skin does not get dry by using this oil in the winter season.

Argan oil has antioxidant properties which work by reducing lipids by inhibiting the growth of body fat. This keeps the liver healthy.
Vitamin-E present in argan oil has antioxidant properties which keep the health of the intestines healthy. This improves digestion. Therefore, argan oil is considered beneficial for digestion.
Cholesterol and heart
The use of argan oil has many benefits which also includes heart and cholesterol. Argan oil has antioxidant properties that reduce low-density lipoprotein (low-density lipoprotein) cholesterol. It also prevents prothrombotic (related to blood vessel risk) complications associated with dyslipidemia (a disease). Therefore, in some studies, it has been found useful for reducing blood sugar i.e., diabetes.
Several research reports have suggested that tocopherols, found in argan oil, reduce the development of cancer. In addition, the cytotoxic in argan oil prevents the cancer cell from spreading.
It is believed that argan oil reduces the cracking and breakage of nails. Because argan oil contains an element called tocopherol which is a type of Vitamin E, which works to keep the nails healthy. Hence argan oil is considered good for nails.

Argan oil is a good home remedy to remove acne. The antioxidant properties present in argan oil help in getting rid of acne. However, its use does not suit all skin types. Therefore, do a patch test before use.
Argan oil has an anti-aging effect which helps in removing the wrinkles of the skin. The skin moisture decreases as we age due to which wrinkles start appearing on the face. In this case, the use of argan oil works to rejuvenate the skin.

Side-effects of Argan Oil
- Although there is no harm with the use of argan oil, some people may be allergic to it.
- Vitamin-E is found in high amounts in argan oil. Therefore, excessive consumption can cause problems like diarrhoea and nausea.
