Banana is a fruit that is categorized under tasty and beneficial fruits. It is a spring fruit which is easily available throughout the year. Bananas are more commonly used to fill the stomach immediately. Apart from this, banana intake is also an easy remedy for upset stomach and weight loss. This is the reason why young people consume bananas after gym workouts in the morning. It helps to build the body and relieve fatigue. Apart from this, the consumption of bananas helps in many diseases like stress, constipation, diarrhea, and blood pressure.

Benefits of Banana for Health

For weight loss-

Bananas are rich in fiber which works to fill the stomach without increasing calories in the body. Apart from this, bananas also contain resistant starch which helps in controlling weight.

For Digestion-

The fiber present in bananas helps in keeping the digestive system healthy due to which the food is digested properly.. Apart from this, fiber also helps in other stomach problems like constipation.

Banana peel is an effective home remedy to whiten teeth. Rubbing the banana peel on the teeth three to four times a week brightens the teeth.

How to use

Finely mash a ripe banana and apply it on the entire face, except for the eyes. After about 20-25 minutes wash the face with lukewarm water. If your skin is very dry, use honey mixed with banana.

For glowing skin-

Bananas are an effective way to make the skin glow because the antioxidants in bananas work to protect the skin from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun.

How to use

After mashing half-ripe banana, mix one teaspoon of sandalwood paste and one-fourth teaspoon of honey in it and apply the mixture on the face and neck. Now after about 20-25 minutes wash the face with lukewarm water.

For anti aging-

Bananas contain plenty of vitamin-A and vitamin-C in the form of niacin, riboflavin, thiamine and folic acid. Vitamin-A is considered effective for preventing signs of aging. It works to remove wrinkles by increasing the collagen in the skin.

How to use

Mash one quarter ripe banana, mix one to two teaspoons of rose water in it and apply it on your face and neck. After about thirty minutes, wash the face with normal water. Do it two to three times a week.

For pimples and swollen eyes-

Banana peels are used to reduce pimples and swelling around the eyes because its peel has antibacterial properties. These work to provide relief from pimples.

How to use

Rub the affected area with the inside portion of the banana peel for some time and wash it off with clean water afterwards.

For dead skin cells-

Bananas are rich in antioxidants which work to remove dead cells from the skin.

How to use

Finely mash a ripe banana, add a spoonful of sugar to it. Now apply the scrub on the face and neck and scrub for a while with the help of fingers. Later, wash the face with lukewarm water.

For beauty sleep-

Adequate sleep is very important for good skin. Therefore, bananas should be eaten daily to take good care of the skin. For hair growth-

How to use

For shiny hair-

After mixing a quarter cup of olive oil and one egg white in a ripe banana, apply the mixture on the hair and after 15 minutes wash the hair with shampoo.

For soft hair-

After thoroughly mashing a ripe banana with avocado, adding a teaspoon of olive oil to it, apply the mixture well on the hair and scalp. After this, cover the hair with a hair cover for 15 minutes and then wash hair thoroughly with shampoo.

For damaged hair-

Mix half a teaspoon of almond oil in a ripe banana, apply the mixture well on the hair and scalp and wash the hair after 10 to 15 minutes with the help of shampoo and conditioner.

For strong hair-

Mix two to three teaspoons of curd in a ripe banana. Apply the paste well on the scalp and wash the hair after 15-20 minutes with the help of shampoo.

For dry hair-

Mix two to three teaspoons of curd in a ripe banana. Apply the mixture well on the hair and scalp. After 15-20 minutes, wash the hair with the help of shampoo and conditioner.
