Pineapples have various medicinal properties, with the help of which it reduces fever and helps in urination problems. Apart from this, pineapple also helps in relieving stomach gas, pain, acidity, and physical weakness.

  • Consuming excessive amounts of pineapple can cause swelling in the tongue, lips, and inner cheeks.
  • Avoid pineapple or its juice for a day before any type of surgery and 15 days later.
  • Drinking a lot of pineapple juice can cause miscarriage.

Pineapple is a wild plant found in Brazil. In India, it can be found in the regions of Meghalaya, Assam, Odisha, Western Ghats, West Bengal, Goa, Maharashtra, Karnataka. It grows abundantly on the beaches of Kerala and the Andaman Islands.
