It is one of the most preferred herbs used in cosmetics and is used in many creams, hair products, and candles.

Types of lavender essential oil
This lavender plant can survive even in cold weather and has the best fragrance, but this type of lavender produces the least amount of oil.
Plants of this lavender are somewhat larger than other lavender. Its leaves are green and gray. It is the best in fragrance. This lavender does not require much freezing and also grows at temperatures up to 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
This type of lavender plant looks like grass. These are mainly found in the Mediterranean region. These are smaller than English lavender in size and are around 200 to 700 meters in height.
This type of lavender is a hybrid of English lavender and spike lavender. It is cultivated exclusively for the industry because it is the most beautiful lavender and most oil is obtained from this variety.

- Lavender essential oil is primarily considered safe to be used on the skin. But even then to eliminate the possibility of allergy, apply it on your skin and do a patch test before using it.
- Pregnant women and lactating women should avoid using lavender essential oil.
- Excessive use of lavender oil can sometimes cause problems such as nausea, vomiting, and headaches.
