People eagerly wait for the season of their choice and the fruits of that season. Black plum is also a fruit which, in common language, is called Black plum. It starts in the summer season and is a rainy season fruit. The color of this fruit is black or dark pink. The fruit of the Black plum is rich in juice and has many medicinal properties. Therefore, it is also used in Ayurveda from the point of view of health.
In Ayurveda, fruits, leaves, bark and seeds of Black plum i.e. kernels are used as herbs. Apart from this, Black plum are also used as snacks (breakfast) and vinegar in some homes. The Black plum belongs to the Rosaceae family, most of which is cultivated in North America and the Pacific Ocean region. All nutritious elements are present in the Black plum which are beneficial in the treatment of many diseases.

Along with this, gallic acid, glycosides and jamboline are also found in the Black plum which help in the treatment of many diseases.

Side effects of Black plum

● Excessive consumption of black plum may also cause indigestion or food poisoning.
● Sometimes, eating black plum without washing them properly can cause allergic problems.
